With a foundation rooted in the ultra-effective Shoulder Relief Cinch™, the StretchTec Shoulder Relief Cinch™ brings the next level of intuition to functional cinches. It is hands downs the most technologically advanced cinch available.

As you’d expect, the StretchTec Shoulder Relief Cinch actually changes the angle and placement of the latigo on the horse to prevent the saddle from being pulled into the shoulder blades, resulting in a free shoulder and better saddle fit.  Additionally, it has a one-of-a-kind patented (US Patent No. D843,666) triangular center elastic feature for additional performance.

The triangular center elastic allows the StretchTec Shoulder Relief Cinch™ to expand with the 1.5 cm chest expansion that horses experience while breathing. Its design also allows it to stretch in a more anatomically friendly way to contour better to a horse’s barrel and provide even contact through the sternum area.

The StretchTec Shoulder Relief Cinch™ features our new “V-Stretch” D ring design that still allows all the functionality of a front and rear D ring, while allowing the center of the cinch to stretch. The StretchTec Shoulder Relief Cinch™ also features a removable liner system to allow for easy cleaning of the liner, as well as the flexibility of swapping between liner materials (as we release more liner choices).

More recently, the cinch has been outfitted with the patent-pending Balance Buckle™. It is the strongest buckle on the market, made of 304 stainless steel – most other cinch buckles are plated iron. Functionally, the Balance Buckle™ is next level. The flat horizontal portions of the buckle keep the cinch evenly tightened on the horse’s body. Since the Shoulder Relief Cinch is a unique shape, it really benefits from this feature.

With the distinct shape of the Shoulder Relief Cinch, it is important to have the cinch centered over the horse’s sternum. The Balance Buckle™ makes this a cinch 😉 It has 2 latigo placements, which allow for fine tuning of the lateral position on the horse’s barrel.

Lastly, the shape of the StretchTec Shoulder Relief Cinch also makes it great for elbow comfort. The cutaways in the cinch pull it back away from the horse’s elbow.
